Beavie is a home-maintenance application designed to help users organize recurring tasks, equipment, supplies, and maintenance history. This Privacy Policy explains what information Beavie may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Beavie, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: information such as your name, email address, authentication provider, and account identifier when you create or connect an account.
- Home-maintenance information: homes, tasks, schedules, equipment, supplies, maintenance logs, completion history, and other information you choose to enter into the app.
- Guest or anonymous account information: identifiers needed to save and protect data when the app is used before a permanent account is created.
- Technical and security information: information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, such as device or app diagnostics, authentication events, and network or error information.
How we use information
We use information to provide Beavie's features, save and synchronize your data, authenticate users, protect accounts, respond to support requests, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, and improve the service.
Service providers
Beavie may use third-party service providers to operate the app and website. These may include Supabase for backend services and authentication infrastructure, Google and Apple for optional sign-in services, Expo for application build and delivery infrastructure, and Cloudflare for domain, DNS, or website infrastructure. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Sale of personal information
Beavie does not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When an account is deleted, associated user data will be deleted or de-identified unless retention is required for legitimate legal or security reasons.
Your choices
You may update certain information within the app. You may also request deletion of your Beavie account and associated data. See our account deletion page for instructions.
Children's privacy
Beavie is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Beavie changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are made.
